In this comprehensive course, participants embark on a journey through four

classes, each meticulously designed to build proficiency in audio production

Week 1: Audio Recording Fundamentals

Week 2: MIDI Programming and Performance

Week 3: Editing and Arranging

Week 4: Mixing and Mastering

The course begins with an exploration of hardware and software setups, covering

essentials like audio interfaces, monitors, and Pro Tools software comparison.


Sessions delve into recording techniques, MIDI production, and advanced editing

workflows, emphasising practical applications.

The second class focuses on MIDI intricacies, guiding participants through MIDI

session setup, recommended virtual instruments, and diverse production

workflows. The third class delves into audio and MIDI editing, arranging, and

creative tools, providing a holistic understanding of Pro Tools capabilities. The final

class tackles mix preparation, advanced mixing workflows, and mastering

techniques, offering insights into gain staging, EQ, compression, and mastering

considerations for diverse platforms.

Throughout the course, participants gain hands-on experience with Pro Tools,

honing their skills in recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.

From foundational concepts to advanced techniques, the course equips individuals

with the knowledge and proficiency to navigate the intricate landscape of audio

production within the Pro Tools environment.
