Who Are You?

We are R4A Music - an Independent Record Label in Southport! We were founded in 2020 under a different name, but rebranded to R4A Music this year. We are a team of three full-time staff and four part-time staff looking to enter and build up the Gold Coast, and Australian, music scene. Why Did You Start Beyond the Dream?

We have had a hard time sourcing local talent - so we thought why not put on a talent show! We had some incredible support from Local and Federal MP's who came to visit our Southport office, so why not!

Why Is It Held at Mantra on View?

We had lots of trouble sourcing local venues - most are booked out months in advance! Manta on View were extremely accomodating of us, and of course, had the availability to spare. Level 4 is their Entertainment precinct where their most suitable space is.

Who Will Be Judging My Audition?

We are currently in the process of finalising local musicians, our staff AND local MP's to judge the auditions - we want all our entrants to get a range of exposure and expertise feedback when they come to audition with us.

What Comes After My Registration?

After you register, this comes through to our lovely team where you will be rostered into the schedule. The week before your audition, you will receive an email with all the information you need to know, as well as the time bracket of your audition. Do I Need to Provide My Own Equipment?

You may have to provide some - like your instruments! We only provide Microphones, Speakers and Amps. We do NOT provide any instruments or anything outside of this list.

When Will the Semi and Grand Final Be Held?

We will be holding the Semi final sometime in November! If you are successful, you will be called back to perform in front of our judges for a chance to compete in the Grand Final.
